Faculty

Lori Foley, CMA, CMM, PHR is a principal with Gates, Moore & Company of Atlanta, Georgia. Lori holds a BS degree in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama and a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), a Certified Medical Manager (CMM), and certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR).

Prior to joining the consulting arena in 1998 and Gates, Moore & Company in 2000, Lori was responsible for the fiscal and operational management of ten hospital-owned primary care and specialty practices to include family practice, internal medicine, OB/GYN, infectious disease and oncology. Her specialty consulting experience also includes general surgery, cardiovascular surgery, ENT, and rheumatology.

As a principal with Gates, Moore & Company, Lori specializes in operational improvement, strategic planning, physician buy-in/buy-out assistance, accounts receivable analysis and improvement, financial control audits, and human resource management.

Lori is a member of The Institute of Management Accountants, Atlanta Medical Group Management Association, the Professional Association of Health Care Office Managers, and the Society of Human Resource Managers.
